Baanam Telugu Movie Story:
A hard hitting tale, the story begins with the life of Bhagat (rohit) in the small town in Vizag district. He is an IPS aspirant and his father Shekar (sayaji) is a former naxalite who comes back from exile. Bhagat's life takes a turn when he chances upon Lakshmi (vedhika) at the station. He gets her home and knows her background. On the other hand, there is Shakti (randhir) the local mafia don who is having ambitious plans to establish his crime empire. A sequence of events happens and the path of Shakti crosses with Bhagat. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
Baanam Telugu Movie Presentation:
The director has come up with a meaningful subject and though the narrative was gripping, the presentation could have been better. The script was written well, the screenplay was nice, dialogues were excellent, real showstealer was the background score and the music. Cinematography was able to capture the locales upto standard. Songs are good. Editing was neat, costumes were natural and the art department was genuine. Rohit has got a strong screen presence and he is also handsome, his dialogue delivery is good but he has to be more flexible with his body language and expressions. Vedhika was alright, Sayaji was standard, Randhir was apt, AVS did his bit as required, Rajeev Kanakala was average, Bhanuchander was convincing, the others did their bit as required.
